Goal:
To develop an engaging and cohesive visual identity for a theoretical museum exhibition on the Art Deco Movement. The primary objective was to create a flexible, scalable theme based on core principles of visual communication that could be successfully applied across both print and digital platforms.
Process/Key Deliverables:
1. Visual Tone Definition: Conducted in-depth research into the Art Deco movement to define a unique and authentic visual tone.
2. Core System Design: Designed a core visual system, starting with a simple logo.
3. Cross-Platform Application: Applied the identity across six distinct deliverables to ensure consistency: an 11x17 poster, a direct mail piece, a ticket, Instagram carousel graphics, and a large-scale street banner.
4. Adaptation: Successfully adapted the design to different size, medium, and viewing constraints while maintaining a unified theme.
Outcome:
The final result is a comprehensive short-term identity package. The project successfully demonstrates the ability to conceptualize, develop, and apply a visual theme across a series of related materials, showcasing expertise in brand application, consistency management, and producing professional-grade collateral for both physical and digital promotional use.
