This project focused on building a magical, playful, and creative social media animation for Crafty Custard, a new business centered on the unique selling proposition of complete customer customization for frozen custard
I developed a dynamic social media animation designed for Instagram Stories, bridging the gap between digital engagement and the physical storefront launch.
Strategy & Concept
The animation serves as a high-energy call to action, utilizing the "Crafty Custard" visual system to build anticipation. By mirroring the brand’s core pillars adventure, creativity, and family fun the motion design aims to capture the attention of both children and parents in a fast-paced digital environment.
Key Features
Narrative Flow:The sequence uses a "problem-solution" hook, asking viewers if they've ever wanted to create their own custard before revealing the "Grand Opening" announcement.
Typography & Motion: I applied playful, bouncing transitions to the custom brand typeface to reinforce the energetic "Where Kids Rule the Scoop!" messaging.
Visual Consistency: The animation utilizes the established vibrant color palette and logo assets, ensuring a seamless transition from the brand's physical assets (like the mobile custard bike and packaging) to the user’s mobile screen.
Interactive Design: Framed within a realistic smartphone mockup, the content is optimized for vertical viewing, featuring clear "Send Message" and engagement zones typical of modern social interfaces.
Outcome
This motion piece completes the brand ecosystem by providing a versatile marketing tool for the "Crafty Custard" launch. It demonstrates an ability to translate a cohesive visual identity into time-based media, ensuring the brand remains impactful and "magical" across all customer touchpoints.
